Janne Sirviö, CEO of Millog Marine & Power, a Millog Group company, has resigned from his position to join another company in the spring of 2024. The search for a new CEO has began. Sirviö will act as the CEO of Millog Marine & Power until a new CEO is appointed.
Millog Marine & Power’s operations started in September 2022, when Millog Group companies Oy Western Shipyard Ltd, Laivakone Oy, and Hämeen Diesel Oy were merged together.
– Millog Marine & Power’s future looks bright – the shipyard had a busy docking year and the company continues to expand its service offering in both the docking and field maintenance businesses. I would like to thank Millog for their faith in me and for the opportunity to steer the new subsidiary through its first steps, Sirviö says.
Rami Harmaala, Chairman of the Board of Millog Marine & Power, thanks Sirviö for his valuable contribution to the development of the company.
– MMP’s first full year of operation was certainly busy. The acquired companies have been successfully merged into Millog Marine & Power and the shipyard’s booking calendar is looking very good for the next year. We wish Sirviö luck in his new duties, Harmaala says.
