TEMPEST-protected spaces for classified work
SAFECEL is a certified TEMPEST-protected space that allows organisations to handle classified information securely, using standard commercial equipment, without specialist TEMPEST-hardened devices.
Millog and Parmaco have developed SAFECEL to address the growing need for certified TEMPEST protection in organisations that handle classified information. Every project is handled with full confidentiality.
All electronic equipment emits electromagnetic signals. A well-equipped adversary can intercept those signals without ever entering a building, reconstructing the information being processed. TEMPEST protection suppresses these emissions to levels where interception becomes impossible.
SAFECEL is built inside existing structures on a space-in-space basis, requiring no major construction works and allowing normal operations to continue throughout installation. The space is finished and equipped to client specifications, and is indistinguishable from a standard office environment.
A prototype was measured by senior TEMPEST experts at Millog in January 2026, exceeding the TEMPEST Zone 3 threshold requirement of 34 dB. SAFECEL meets EU ISAG 7-01, 7-02, 7-03 and NATO SDIP-27, -28, -29, and supports the handling of ST2 and NATO Secret classified information without specialist TEMPEST-hardened devices.
