Sections 5–8 are intended specifically for those carrying out production work or subcontracting work at Millog. Section 9 outlines the procedures to follow in the event of an emergency. Finally, provide your contact details to the Millog’s local safety representatives. 1. Millog's locations Millog’s operational locations consist of different fenced areas, and some operations take place on Finnish Defence Forces’ premises. When operating on Finnish Defence Forces’ premises, you must adhere to their safety instructions. All our locations feature video surveillance and access control. Unauthorised access to the sites is strictly prohibited. Please do not post any information about your visit on social media without the explicit permission from Millog’s Communications Manager. All photography, filming and recording are strictly prohibited within our premises.1. Movement within Millog’s premises Parking is permitted only at designated guest parking areas. Upon arrival, report to the site gate or the reception area of the building. Security personnel will notify your Millog contact of your arrival. Keep your visitor badge and, where applicable, your employer-issued photo ID visible at all times during your visit. Millog is a non-smoking workplace. Assembly points (usually parking areas) are marked at all locations with green signposts. Indoor emergency exit routes are marked with green walkway signs and/or lights. Please be mindful of other vehicles and pedestrians moving within the premises. Access permissions The access permissions must be requested well in advance before arriving on the premises. Receiving access permissions requires: completed safety introduction, valid security clearance, valid non-disclosure agreement (NDA), and a valid Occupational Safety certification. You must always be able to provide your workplace safety certification if requested. Lack of or outdated certification will be considered an obstacle for continuing work. If required, access control tags will be provided by your Millog point of contact. Upon arrival and departure, make sure to register your entry/exit with your access control tag. Do not follow other individuals without registering your entry/exit when arriving or leaving the premises. All personnel must be accounted for in case of emergencies. Work outside standard hours must always be agreed in advanced with your local Millog point of contact. 3. Data handling When working for or on behalf of Millog, or in any collaboration with us, you are not allowed to disclose or unauthorizedly use the information you receive. The nondisclosure and secrecy agreements are valid even after you have completed your work with Millog. Removing confidential materials from Millog’s premises is strictly forbidden 4. Workplace safety Millog adheres to a zero-accident principle within our own and stakeholders’ personnel. Please take care of your own and your co-workers’ safety. Follow instructions given to you. Only operate fully functional equipment and devices. Use the devices according to instructions. Use extra caution when working above floor or ground level. Use approved ladders, work platforms, etc. When working alone in hazardous environments, always notify your Millog point of contact. Take note of possible shortcomings in workplace safety, and report all safety observations, dangers, and risks to your Millog point of contact. Be aware of any potential safety hazards within the premises, in your work area and related to your work. 5. Work clothes and protective equipment If you are visiting production or maintenance areas, please bring your own safety footwear and safety glasses whenever possible. If needed, your local Millog point of contact will provide safety glasses, earplugs, and a high-visibility vest. When working at Millog, we expect you to: Always wear appropriate work clothes, safety footwear and eye protection. If required, also wear other protective equipment such as a helmet and hearing protection. Provide your own work clothes and protective equipment unless otherwise specified. Ensure your visibility with e.g., an attention vest if necessary. We encourage the use of hi-vis workwear. 6. Hot work Please note these guidelines when working at Millog: All Millog premises follow local hot work plans. Hot work is permitted only at designated hot work areas. If you are performing hot work at temporary hot work area, please contact your local Millog point of contact. Take special requirements such as ATEX areas into account in your work. 7. Completing work Please note these guidelines when working at Millog: Millog adheres to a general cleanliness policy. Make sure your work area is clean after completing work. Sort your trash into their appropriate recycling bins. Make sure that you have turned off all machinery and equipment that are no longer required. In case of emergency In case of emergency, follow the rescue instructions provided at the location or by personnel. Be aware that emergency service response times may vary depending on the location. First aid and emergency instructions: Warn others of the danger. Rescue those in immediate danger. In the event of a fire, extinguish the fire if safely possible. Otherwise limit the fire by closing doors and windows. Perform first aid if required. Alert emergency services by calling 112 and report the incident to your Millog point of contact.
