Harri Elonen, the head of the Vantaa unit of Millog’s subsidiary Millog Marine & Power Oy, is leaving the company as of 31 March 2023. Petri Pekkanen, previously serving as Maintenance Manager, assumed the position of Unit Director on 1 March.
Janne Sirviö, Managing Director of Millog Marine & Power, says that these changes are being made by mutual agreement and in a good spirit.
– The decision that Harri would step down was made earlier, when Laivakone Oy was merged into Millog Marine & Power Oy. I would like to thank Harri for his valuable contributions and wishes Petri the best of luck with his new challenges, he says.
The Vantaa unit of Millog Marine & Power Oy continues to serve its customers in tackling maritime and industrial maintenance challenges by harnessing all the solid professional expertise it has gained over its long history.
– I’m proud of our work community – the team spirit and continuously evolving expertise that we’ve achieved under Harri’s leadership. It’s an honour to be leading a unit where we’ve worked in close cooperation for the past seven years. I want to thank Harri for all the guidance he has given me during my years at Laivakone and Millog Marine & Power, says Pekkanen.
