New appointments in Millog’s Senior Management

Rami Harmaala has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnership and he will lead Millog's new Partnership organization.

Millog Oy centralises the activities supporting the strategic partnership of the Finnish Defence Forces into a new Partnership organisation. The function will be led by Rami Harmaala, Millog’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnership.

There have been reorganisations within Millog Oy to strengthen and support Millog’s role as a strategic partner of the Finnish Defence Forces. The changes will take effect from 21 October 2024. Rami Harmaala has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnership and he will lead the new Partnership organization. He reports to Millog CEO Janne Tarvainen.

In his new role, Harmaala is responsible for Millog’s strategic partnership with Finnish Defence Forces as well as leading the implementation of Millog’s strategic projects. He has held several management positions in the company and has previously worked as an interim CEO of Millog following the resignation of the earlier CEO in August 2023. As a head of Partnership organization, he also continues as a deputy to the CEO.

Kimmo Myllyoja, who previously headed the Partnership services function, is nominated as Senior Vice President with the responsibility for the Readiness, Life Cycle Management and Projects organization. He also reports to CEO Tarvainen.
